Bethany for Children & Families is doing the "Learning About Me"curriculum for our 6th grade students the week of Feb. 1st - 5th. A letter went home this week, January 12 with information for parents. There is an informational meeting on Jan. 25, at 6:00 pm in Mrs. DeDecker's room at Silvis Jr. High where Mrs. McLeod will meet with parents to answer questions if they want to come. Her phone number is 309-763-6645 if you cannot attend and would like to speak to her.

We did it!  We had 28 people show up to donate at our blood drive last week, and we ended up collecting 25 units.  So that means that we qualified to receive our grant dollars again this year!

We will receive $275.00 for our efforts, and the best part of this great community service project is that we helped to positively impact the lives of 100 patients both locally and regionally.
