The meeting was called to order at 6:01 p.m.

Members Present: Rossmiller, Greer, Piper, Ciasto, Pustelnick

Members Absent: Jecks, Stone

Stone entered the meeting at 6:03 p.m.

Motion by Piper, second by Stone to enter executive session to conduct an expulsion hearing (5 ILCS 120/2(c)(9)).

Motion carried by voice acclamation.

Executive session was called to order at 6:06 p.m.

Members Present: Rossmiller, Greer, Piper, Stone, Ciasto, Pustelnik

Members Absent: Jecks

Jecks entered the meeting at 6:08 p.m.

Motion by Jecks, second by Stone to exit executive session at 7:19 p.m.

Motion carried by voice acclamation.

Meeting called to order at 7:20 p.m.

Members Present: Jecks, Rossmiller, Greer, Piper, Stone, Ciasto, Pustelnik

Members Absent: None

Motion by Jecks, second by Stone to expel student #812 for the remainder of the 2008-09 school year with an option for placement at Rock River Alternative School in lieu of expulsion.

Ayes: Jecks, Rossmiller, Greer, Piper, Stone, Ciasto, Pustelnik

Nays: None

Motion by Ciasto, second by Pustelnik to approve site work and schematic drawings not to exceed $30,000.00 to make Silvis School District #34 shovel ready for a new building.

Ayes: Jecks, Rossmiller, Greer, Piper, Stone, Ciasto, Pustelnik

Nays: None

Motion by Jecks, second by Ciasto to adjourn the meeting at 7:38 p.m.
