Ms. Thomson gave a presentation on the social studies/handwriting textbook selection committee and their recommendations.
Motion by Jecks, second by Ciasto
to approve the Textbook Selection Committee’s recommendation for 6-8 social
studies as presented, to approve the employment of Michael W. Hughes as George
O. Barr Elementary School principal and

Mr. Bergles updated the Board on the potential for the stimulus money to include increases for FY09 money for Title I and IDEA.
